Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demarcus Bate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satan has chosen Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Demarcus Bate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Satan!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satan blocks the body kick.
Bate throws a body punch but Satan moves out of range.
Bate staying out of range there.
Satan goes for a double leg but Bate avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bate continues to drive forward.
Bate blocks a body shot from Satan.
Satan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bate blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Satan fails to land.
Satan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Satan misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bate throws a punch but it's blocked by Satan.

Bate tries to lock up and control but Satan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bate uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Satan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bate.
Satan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Satan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Satan throws a body shot but no joy.
Bate checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Satan dives in for a single leg takedown but Bate sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bate blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bate lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Satan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bate.

Bate throws an elbow but it misses.
Bate tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Satan's elbow.

It looks like Demarcus Bate has been cut.
Bate misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bate works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Satan is looking to control Bate's arms but Bate gets an underhook and turns him. Now Satan has his back to the cage.

It looks like Damien Satan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Satan misses with some punches.
Satan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Satan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bate avoids it really well and circles away.

Satan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Satan wants it to stay on the feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Satan connects with a leg kick. Bate looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Satan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


No luck for Satan with that takedown attempt.
Bate jabs Satan right on the nose. Satan blinks but takes it well.

Satan tries to sprawl but Bate drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Bate wants to lay and pray for a moment but Satan keeps working.

Bate is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Satan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Satan shrugs it off.
Bate has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Satan's face.
Bate is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Satan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Bate seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Satan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bate is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Satan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bate.

Demarcus Bate decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
