Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marc Zietsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Putin's choice of entrance music: Ruudolf - Leijonakuningaslaulu. Marc Zietsch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin tries to land a leg kick but Zietsch saw it coming and moves away.
Zietsch looks to land a left hand but Putin moved out of range nicely.
Zietsch ducks under a wild hook from Putin.
Putin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zietsch doesn't seem bothered though.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Putin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zietsch wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Zietsch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Putin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Zietsch remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Zietsch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Putin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Zietsch tries to score with some ground and pound. Putin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Zietsch is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That was a close round but I would say that Marc Zietsch will probably get the nod.

Zietsch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Putin's waist but Putin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zietsch off to one side.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Putin enables Zietsch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Putin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Marc Zietsch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Putin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zietsch defends it easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Putin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zietsch has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zietsch and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Zietsch closes the distance and clinches up with Putin, looking for a takedown. Zietsch pushes Putin against the cage but Putin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Putin drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Zietsch's head, knocking him out cold! Putin is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

In his post fight interview, Jonas Putin gave a big smile as he said 'First fight was robbery, i am unofficially 2-0 againt Wong.'.
