Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Malaipet Sasiprapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasiprapa comes to the cage accompanied by Malaipet the Diamond. Canthropus has chosen Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Malaipet Sasiprapa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Pithe Canthropus!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Topper Green and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canthropus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sasiprapa.
Canthropus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sasiprapa. Sasiprapa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Canthropus tries a head kick but it misses.
Sasiprapa scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Canthropus doesn't seem bothered though.
Sasiprapa throws a leg kick which misses Canthropus's front leg but catches the back leg as Canthropus tries to avoid it.
Nice uppercut there from Canthropus.
Canthropus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Canthropus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Canthropus avoids the body shot from Sasiprapa.
Canthropus cracks the inside of Sasiprapa's front leg.
Canthropus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick misses from Canthropus.
Sasiprapa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Canthropus moves away.
Sasiprapa misses the shot to the body.
We've been told by Sasiprapa's head coaches at Palazzo Paisano that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sasiprapa keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Sasiprapa.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sasiprapa feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Canthropus's calf.
Malaipet Sasiprapa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sasiprapa lands a big head kick that sends Canthropus tumbling to the mat! Sasiprapa takes a step backwards and waves Canthropus back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Pithe Canthropus has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sasiprapa throws a quick inside leg kick.
Canthropus looks winded!
Sasiprapa avoids the head kick by Canthropus.
Sasiprapa fakes the leg kick and cracks Canthropus in the body.

Sasiprapa drops Canthropus with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Canthropus looks back up at him and smiles so Sasiprapa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Canthropus is rocked!
Sasiprapa scores with a nice body kick.
Canthropus is still on wobbly legs! Can Sasiprapa finish him?
Sasiprapa lands with a nice body punch.
Sasiprapa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Canthropus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sasiprapa cracks the inside of Canthropus's front leg.
Sasiprapa scores with a push kick.
Canthropus wants to stay close but Sasiprapa steps back to make room for something. Canthropus seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Sasiprapa and Canthropus drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Malaipet Sasiprapa!
Malaipet Sasiprapa made sure to mention his sponsor, Conviction in his post fight interview.
Pithe Canthropus spoke after the fight, saying 'Crap. I lost. That sucks.'.
