Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Canadian Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hilton Teimosia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teimosia tries to keep at a distance but Hero has taken the fight into the clinch.
Teimosia doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hero slowing the pace effectively.
Teimosia wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hero has him pressed against the cage.
Teimosia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Teimosia misses with a wild combination.
Hero scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Teimosia throws a leg kick
and Hero counters with a crisp one two that drops Teimosia! Hero thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Teimosia to his feet! Teimosia is in big trouble!
Teimosia is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Teimosia digs a good body shot into Hero's ribs.
Whack! Hero lands a heavy head kick that drops Teimosia. The ref tackles Hero to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Teimosia was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Canadian Hero!
Canadian Hero retains his lightweight title!
Our winner, Canadian Hero, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
