Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zander Givens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus throws a right hand that Givens ducks under and follows up with a left that Givens also avoids with ease.
Givens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Givens is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maximus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A right-left combo lands from Maximus.

It looks like Zander Givens has been cut.
Givens shoots for a double leg takedown but Maximus sprawls well. He's pushed Givens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Givens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maximus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Givens somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zander Givens. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Givens changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maximus tries to avoid it but Givens manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maximus to the ground. Maximus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Givens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Givens takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Givens takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Givens is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Givens takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Givens looks for a takedown but Maximus sprawls well.
Maximus has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Maximus scores with a shot to the body.
Maximus lands a really nice looking cross but Givens seems unphased.
Maximus lands a head kick. Givens smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Maximus cracks Givens with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Givens looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Maximus finish him?

Givens is rocked!

Zander Givens's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Givens takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
DJ Maximus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maximus drops Givens with a big left hand! Givens is injured, injured bad! Maximus jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
