The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Oooooh!!! Delarosa has knocked Salvador down with a huge combo! Delarosa steps away and waves a wobbly Salvador back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Salvador is rocked!


It looks like Thiago Salvador has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Salvador shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Delarosa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Delarosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Salvador drops back, looking for a kneebar! Delarosa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Delarosa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Delarosa!

Salvador goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Delarosa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Salvador's guard! Nice work there by Delarosa!

Salvador has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Delarosa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Salvador is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Delarosa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Delarosa can't keep his opponent in guard - Salvador advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Salvador has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Delarosa defend it? Salvador steps over the head and cranks it - Delarosa is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Salvador!
