PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Pat Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamikaze Sazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Pat Barry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Kamikaze Sazuki!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sazuki loads up on a big right hand but Barry slips the punch.
Barry tries to clinch but Sazuki is having none of it.
Barry throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Barry lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Sazuki goes down! The ref sends Barry to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Sazuki is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Sazuki is rocked!

It looks like Kamikaze Sazuki has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sazuki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sazuki is still on wobbly legs! Can Barry finish him?
Crack! A monster head kick from Barry and Sazuki falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Barry!
