Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Martin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erik Kramer!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Martin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kramer throws a series of punches but Martin moves out of range.
Kramer jabs at Martin's body.
Kramer listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Martin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kramer.
Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kramer.
Kramer throws a jab when Martin was well out of range.
Kramer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Martin darts in looking for a takedown but Kramer gets double underhooks and turns Martin into the cage.

Martin breaks the clinch.
An inside leg kick from Kramer misses.
Kramer throws a good cross that connects.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kramer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Martin dives in and scores a takedown into Kramer's guard.
Martin pushes down on Kramer's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kramer is trying to get back to full guard.
Kramer trying to control but Martin postures up.
Kramer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kramer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kramer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Kramer being controlled here, momentarily.
Martin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Kramer is looking for a triangle but Martin pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Martin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kramer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Martin has managed to get both his arms back between Kramer's legs - danger averted.
Martin lands a couple of elbows.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kramer working for submissions but it's allowed Martin to get to half guard.
Kramer is trying to get back to full guard.
Kramer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Martin.
Martin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kramer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Martin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kramer's head.

Martin slows the pace down in half guard.
Kramer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Martin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Martin's back!

Kramer has got his arm under Martin's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Martin has spun round into Kramer's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kramer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Erik Kramer will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kramer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Martin fails with a takedown attempt.
Kramer avoids the head kick by Martin.
Kramer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kramer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Martin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Martin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kramer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kramer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Erik Kramer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kramer.

Martin moves into the clinch.
Kramer is trying to break the clinch but Martin is controlling him.

Martin breaks the clinch.
Martin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kramer.
Erik Kramer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martin scores with a spinning back kick!
Kramer thuds his right hand into Martin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kramer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Martin's head backwards.
Erik Kramer seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kramer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A swing and a miss from Martin.
Martin shoots for a takedown but Kramer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kramer scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


Martin is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kramer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh Martin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Martin misses with a two punch combination.
Martin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kramer counters with a nice uppercut.
Kramer cracks the inside of Martin's front leg.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Martin throws a leg kick that misses.
Kramer lands a jab.
Kramer fakes the body blow, causing Martin to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Martin goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Erik Kramer!
