Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Raban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bronson Theme Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Bronson.

Bronson rushes Raban and presses him up against the cage.
Raban on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Raban lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bronson wants to get back to full guard.
Bronson trying to control but Raban postures up.
Raban is trying to control. Bronson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bronson tries to roll over but Raban keeps him under control.
Bronson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Bronson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Raban pulls his head out easily.

Raban looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Raban's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Raban has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've been hearing good reports from Raban's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A frustrated look appears on Raban's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Bronson pushes Raban back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bronson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Bronson is pressed up against the cage. Raban has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bronson down to the mat. Bronson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
