Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sir Lee Sea Flea!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sea Flea throws a hook but Castro blocks it.
Sea Flea misses with a left hand
and Castro counters with a nice uppercut.

Sea Flea dives in and scores a takedown into Castro's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castro keeping moving, preventing Sea Flea from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sea Flea works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Castro keeping hold of Sea Flea's head, controlling as best he can.

Sea Flea is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Castro to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sir Lee Sea Flea hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Sea Flea thuds his right hand into Castro's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Castro takes one to the side of the head.

Sea Flea getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Castro counters with a low kick, right behind Sea Flea 's knee.
Sea Flea throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Sea Flea manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Castro on his heels. He'll look to pass Castro's guard now, I'm sure.

Sea Flea not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Castro has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sea Flea working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Castro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Castro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Castro won't allow Sea Flea to pass to mount.
Sea Flea wants to lay and pray for a moment but Castro keeps working.

Sea Flea is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Castro sees it coming and defends easily.

Sea Flea is trying to control. Castro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Castro pushes Sea Flea off looking to stand but Sea Flea dives back in and keeps control.
Castro is refusing to be controlled, as Sea Flea sits in half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sir Lee Sea Flea hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Sea Flea swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Castro.

and Castro counters by moving into the clinch.

Castro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Castro slips under a jab.
Sea Flea misses with a lunging right hand

and Castro holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Castro is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sea Flea is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Castro to the mat. Castro regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Sea Flea wants to pass the guard but Castro is keeping the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Castro manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sea Flea is looking to improve his position but Castro isn't that keen on the idea.

Castro stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Sea Flea wants to slow Castro down by chopping away at his legs.
Sea Flea throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Castro counter with a right hand.
Sea Flea misses with a right hand
and Sea Flea takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sea Flea motions for Castro to come forward. Sea Flea throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Castro gets caught flat footed, as Sea Flea shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sea Flea trying to control the position from guard on top but Castro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sea Flea wants to pass the guard but Castro is keeping the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Castro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sir Lee Sea Flea showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Sea Flea lands with a hook. Castro tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nice defenses there by Castro.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sea Flea. Castro does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sir Lee Sea Flea has got the better of the ground game so far.
Castro seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Sea Flea is looking to improve his position.
Sea Flea has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Castro is working away from the top position though.
Boss Castro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Sea Flea is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Castro pulls his head out easily.
It looks like Castro is going to stand back up.

Sir Lee Sea Flea is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Sea Flea holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Sea Flea has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Sea Flea is looking to control Castro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sea Flea avoid being mounted?
