Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doug Pattersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ritchie Blackmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pattersson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Banana song Peel Banana. Blackmore has chosen 16th century greensleeves as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattersson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Blackmore throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pattersson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blackmore.

Pattersson gets the takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Blackmore's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pattersson cracks Blackmore with a big right hand but Blackmore just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blackmore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
