Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nino Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Batroc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Georges Batroc has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nino Brown's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nino Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Georges Batroc!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands with a straight right. Batroc didn't see that one coming.
Brown has been working on his boxing with his coaches at HARRY'S in the buildup to the fight.
Batroc connects with a single shot there.
Brown throws the left hand but Batroc avoids the punch easily.
Brown takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Batroc misses with a low kick.
Brown moves out of range as Batroc strikes.
Batroc dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Batroc looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brown steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Batroc.
Batroc lands with a right hand.
Batroc takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Brown avoids the body shot from Batroc.
Batroc throws a hook but Brown blocks it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Batroc, as that shot connected.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Batroc checks a leg kick.
Brown lands a right hook to the body.
Batroc's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Batroc scrambles back to his feet.
Batroc throws a jab when Brown was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown clinches.
Brown is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Batroc is defending well.
Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Batroc tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Batroc misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely.
Batroc will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brown takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Batroc throws the left hand but Brown avoids the punch easily.
Brown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Batroc circles away.
Batroc slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Brown is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Batroc flashes Brown a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Brown's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Brown crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Batroc punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Georges Batroc!
