Smith comes to the ring accompanied by Sabaton- Metal machine. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernardo fails with a takedown attempt.

Smith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Smith trying to control the action but Bernardo is working from the bottom.
Smith creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Bernardo is looking to reverse the position.
Smith lands some shots froms side control.
Smith cracks Bernardo with a big elbow.

Smith working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bernardo is not content to let Smith control the position.
Smith is really struggling to control Bernardo but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Smith tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith wants to control but Bernardo is keeping him busy.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Smith advances nicely into full mount.
Bernardo tries to lock up and control but Smith gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bernardo badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Smith around the waist but Smith pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Smith is the winner by TKO! Smith jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

In his post fight interview, Dan Smith started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
