Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ewen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by We Are The Fallen-Bury Me Alive. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ewen Davis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost throws a body punch but Davis moves out of range.
Davis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Frost looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range.
A combination from Frost does no damage.
Nice defenses there by Davis.
Frost lands a nice looking body shot.
Davis darts in looking for a takedown but Frost gets double underhooks and turns Davis into the cage.

Frost has picked Davis up - he's going for a ride! Frost dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Davis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Davis trying to control from the bottom.
Frost prevents Davis from improving his position.
Davis is controlling Frost's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Davis wants to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frost not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Davis is trying is best to control the position here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ewen Davis was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Frost leaves Davis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Frost fails with the takedown.
Frost misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Davis.
Frost fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Davis avoids the body shot from Frost.
Frost has been working on his balance at Untitled, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Davis.
No joy there for Frost, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Frost lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davis circles away quickly and effectively.

Frost thows a body shot but no joy.

Frost closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Davis keeping his opponent close.
Davis tries to improve position but can't.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Davis trying to control from half guard but Frost is working away.

Davis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Frost defends it well.

Frost looking for submissions off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frost moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Frost preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Frost can't keep his opponent in guard - Davis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Davis wants to free his trapped foot but Frost is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Davis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Frost sees it coming and defends easily.

Frost is defending against the submission attempts here by Davis.

Frost looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Frost is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Davis pulls his head out easily.

Davis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Davis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Davis is trying to work for a kimura but Frost is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ewen Davis will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Frost misses the shot to the body.
Frost is looking to wear down Davis with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Frost avoids the body shot from Davis.
Frost misses with a looping left.
Davis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Frost.
Davis shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense.
Frost is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davis.
Frost will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Davis shoots in but Frost avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Frost pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Davis back to the cage. Frost follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Frost drives through with a takedown into Davis's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Frost throwing strikes but missing.
Frost throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Davis wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Frost cracks Davis with a solid left hand.
Davis pulls Frost in close to prevent any damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Frost preventing the sweep.
Davis is pulling down on Frost's head to control his posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ewen Davis.

Frost shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Davis napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Davis defending against the ground and pound.
Davis holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frost is trying to ground and pound but Davis uses the momentary lack of control by Frost to regain half guard.
Frost wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working.
Davis tries to roll over but Frost keeps him under control.
Davis moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Davis is on top in guard.
Frost keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Frost is looking for a triangle here but Davis uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Frost tries to buck Davis off but Davis is having none of it.
Davis advances to full mount.
Frost stops Davis from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Davis looking to secure an arm triangle but Frost defends it well.

Davis is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Frost is forced to tap! Great finish!
