Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Cabral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabral throws a body punch but Pinochet moves out of range.
Cabral avoids the body shot from Pinochet.
Pinochet has a takedown stuffed.
Cabral uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pinochet.
A jab from Pinochet finds it's way through Cabral's defenses.

Pinochet decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pinochet working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cabral is trying to get back to full guard.

Pinochet is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pinochet is controlling the pace.
Cabral is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Pinochet wants to free his trapped foot but Cabral is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Cabral tries to roll over but Pinochet keeps him under control.

Still in half guard, Pinochet seems content to control.

Augusto Pinochet has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Pinochet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cabral paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pinochet.
Cabral tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pinochet was well out of range. Poor timing from Cabral.

Cabral has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Pinochet drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Pinochet is looking to take a break and control but Cabral is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cabral tries to buck Pinochet off but Pinochet is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cabral takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pinochet thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pinochet works to advance to full mount. Cabral defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Cabral is trying desperately to improve position.
Pinochet cracks Cabral with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Cabral is looking to improve his position but Pinochet isn't that keen on the idea.
Cabral is squirming around, avoiding Pinochet's attempts to control the action.
Cabral bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Pinochet had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cabral defends it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Cabral takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pinochet shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cabral as he avoids it easily.
Pinochet misses with a wild body shot.
Pinochet fails to land the takedown.
Cabral avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pinochet throws a body punch but Cabral moves out of range.

Cabral closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pinochet's guard.

Cabral not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Pinochet has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Cabral doesn't defend quickly enough and Pinochet has managed to lock this one up! Can Cabral escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pinochet on a fantastic submission victory.
