Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bushido Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canthropus comes to the cage accompanied by Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home. Bushido Brown has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pithe Canthropus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Canthropus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Canthropus misses with a body kick.
Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brown wants to clinch but Canthropus slips to the side
and Canthropus counters with a nice uppercut.
Canthropus lands a jab to the nose.
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Canthropus pushes him off.
Canthropus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Canthropus.
Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Canthropus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Canthropus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Canthropus gets caught napping as Brown dives in and scores a takedown. Canthropus manages to retain guard.

Canthropus has momentary wrist control but Brown slips an elbow through the middle.

Canthropus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Canthropus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brown is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Canthropus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Canthropus wants to control but Brown is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brown stops Canthropus from getting back to his feet.
Canthropus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though.
Canthropus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bushido Brown will probably get the nod.

Canthropus plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Brown to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Brown just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
