And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nero Padilla!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonhson throws a shot from downtown. Padilla moves away and avoids it.
Padilla has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
An inside leg kick lands from Padilla.
Padilla connects with an inside leg kick.

It looks like Jeff Jonhson has been cut.
Jonhson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Padilla.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jonhson. Padilla does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jonhson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Padilla misses with an uppercut. Jonhson saw that one coming.
Nice body kick from Padilla.
Padilla throws a lazy right hand but Jonhson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The crowd cheers as Jonhson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Padilla doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jonhson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Padilla lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jonhson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Padilla finds it's way round the side to connect with Jonhson's head.
Padilla misses with a wild body shot.

Jonhson slips a straight right by Padilla.

Jonhson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Padilla.

Jonhson throws a right and a left that Padilla avoids nicely.

Jonhson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Padilla can pounce on him.
Jonhson moves out of range of the body kick.
Jonhson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jonhson scores with a kick to the body.
Jonhson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Padilla connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jonhson's hands.
Padilla moves out of range as Jonhson throws a body kick.
Padilla misses with a kick to the body
and Jonhson counters with an outside leg kick.
Padilla dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jonhson. That did some damage!
Jonhson misses with a straight right.
Jonhson ducks under a wild hook from Padilla.
Padilla takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Padilla stalks Jonhson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jonhson's face. Jonhson staggers backwards, shaken.

Jeff Jonhson's cut is getting worse.
Padilla takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Nero Padilla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Padilla jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jonhson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Padilla walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Jonhson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Padilla swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Jonhson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

During a confident post fight interview, Nero Padilla thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
