Peterson comes to the cage accompanied by Blind Eye Halo. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernardo lands with a kick to the temple. Peterson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bernardo gets off balance looking for a body kick

Bernardo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bernardo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bernardo throws a head kick but Peterson moves out of range.

Peterson shoots in and bounces Bernardo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterson stands and throws Bernardo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peterson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bernardo, who protects the arm well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Peterson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bernardo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Peterson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bernardo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Peterson lets go of the hold and Bernardo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
