Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Munawat Guli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Queen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guli throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Queen.

Queen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Queen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Guli has his hands clasped together around Queen's back. He's all about the action.
Queen prevents Guli from improving his position.
Guli keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Queen is looking to take a break and control but Guli is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Queen lands strikes from half guard.
Queen slips a nice elbow through Guli's hands, connecting with Guli's forehead.

It looks like Munawat Guli has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Guli makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Guli.
Guli looking to hit a scissor sweep but Queen is one step ahead there.
Queen throws a big elbow that misses.
Guli has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Guli preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Queen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Queen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Munawat Guli's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Queen lands a couple of elbows.
Oh Guli is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Munawat Guli's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
