The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoshino throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kantaro Hoshino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OReily moves out of range as Hoshino strikes.

Hoshino has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Hoshino feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends OReily sprawling to the canvas! OReily rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hoshino finish him?!

Oh OReily is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
OReily uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hoshino.
Hoshino throws a jab when OReily was well out of range.
Hoshino is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
OReily leaves his chin hanging out and Hoshino seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! OReily crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
