Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dane Brigglett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hal Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan has chosen Dawn of the Dead by Does it Offend you, yeah? as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dane Brigglett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hal Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan wants to slow Brigglett down by chopping away at his legs.
Brigglett misses with a straight left.
Jordan lands a slapping body shot.
Brigglett keeps the fight on the outside.
A head kick by Jordan misses
letting Brigglett counter with a right hand.
Brigglett has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jordan finds it's way round the side to connect with Brigglett's head.


It looks like Dane Brigglett has been cut.
Jordan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brigglett on the side of the head.
Sloppy strikes from Jordan. Those never looked like landing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brigglett tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brigglett loads up on a big right hand but Jordan slips the punch.
Jordan lands with a hook. Brigglett tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A shot to the body from Brigglett misses

and Jordan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jordan.

Jordan tries to work over Brigglett's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Brigglett struggles to land a body shot inside as Jordan controls his hands.

Brigglett manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brigglett chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jordan can pounce on him.
Jordan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brigglett manages to avoid it.
Jordan with a body punch. A glancing blow.
We've been told by Brigglett's head coaches at K.O. Koala's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jordan cracks Brigglett with a good jab.
Jab, jab by Jordan - just one landing.
An inside leg kick lands from Jordan.
Jordan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hal Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brigglett's calf.
Jordan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brigglett at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brigglett takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Brigglett moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jordan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brigglett has time to react.

Jordan sends Brigglett crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jordan is motioning to the referee to let Brigglett up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Brigglett is rocked!
Jordan cracks Brigglett with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Brigglett falls to his knees and Jordan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hal Jordan!
Hal Jordan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Dane Brigglett stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want to apologize to all my fans! I went to the strip club last night and I still have a f*****g hangover...plus...My huge penis threw me off balance a few times during the fight, I may tape it to my leg next fight.'.
