The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duckke lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Nathan Maskrey has been cut.
Maskrey misses with a double jab.
Duckke shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Maskrey sprawls well. Maskrey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Duckke gets slowly back to his feet.
Nathan Maskrey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick by Duckke misses

and Maskrey counters by clinching up.

Maskrey has clasped his hands together around Duckke's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Duckke wants to control but Maskrey postures up.

Maskrey has hold of Duckke's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Duckke tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Maskrey cranks the arm and Duckke screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Duckke, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
