Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis Rampage!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Chris Dean and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Rampage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rampage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rampage wants it to stay on the feet.
Marleau drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rampage can do anything to dispel that myth.
Marleau tries to score with some ground and pound. Rampage controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Marleau has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rampage struggling a bit here.
Marleau is trying to get an arm triangle but Rampage is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marleau takes a little break here. Rampage wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Marleau tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Marleau decides to stand back up. Marleau steps back and let's Rampage get back to his feet.
Marleau gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rampage counters by clinching up.
Marleau tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rampage just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Marleau. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rampage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lewis Rampage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marleau gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Marleau scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marleau is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Marleau looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Marleau looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rampage is defending well. Marleau quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rampage has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Marleau celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
