Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Asbolus Pholus!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pholus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steel pinned against the cage. Steel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pholus misses with a two punch combination.
Steel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pholus.
Steel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Pholus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Pholus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Steel sprawls well. Steel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pholus gets slowly back to his feet.

Pholus is trying to drag Steel to the mat but Steel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Steel works the jab nicely.
Steel looks to land a right hand but Pholus moved out of range.
Steel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Pholus takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Steel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Steel wants it to stay on the feet.
Pholus ducks right into an uppercut from Steel.
Pholus shoots for a double leg takedown but Steel sprawls well. He's pushed Pholus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pholus looks winded!
Steel tries to clinch there but Pholus circles away.

Pholus looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Steel!

You can see the frustration on Steel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Steel regains half guard, as Pholus was trying to land strikes.
Steel trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Pholus manages to pass to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Pholus throws the left hand but Steel avoids the punch easily.
Pholus dives in for a single leg takedown but Steel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Pholus is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Steel gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Pholus wants to take the fight to the mat but Steel manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Steel lands a nice shot to the body.

Steel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pholus misses with a looping right.
Pholus takes one on the button.
Pholus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pholus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steel as he jumps to the side.
Pholus is still on wobbly legs! Can Steel finish him?

Steel closes the distance and clinches.

Pholus seems to have recovered his senses.
Steel with a nice cross.
Steel lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Pholus falls backwards - clearly groggy! Steel dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
