Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vedad Kurtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slip Cahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cahn has chosen Eye Of the Lion as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vedad Kurtic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Slip Cahn!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kurtic.
Cahn sizes up Kurtic with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kurtic gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cahn.
Cahn wants to clinch up but Kurtic keeps it at a distance.
A cross from Cahn lands.
Cahn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cahn wants it to stay on the feet.

Cahn clinches up with Kurtic and pushes him back against the cage.
Cahn scores with a shot to the side of Kurtic's head.

Cahn gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cahn tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kurtic.

Cahn is working for a submission of some sort.
Cahn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kurtic is breathing heavily.
Cahn is keen to just control but Kurtic is a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cahn lands a nice short elbow.
Kurtic is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cahn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cahn's back!
Cahn manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kurtic's guard. Nice work there by Cahn.
Kurtic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cahn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Cahn lands a couple of elbows.

Cahn stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cahn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cahn works Kurtic's body with a nice hook.
Kurtic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cahn as he jumps to the side.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cahn.
Cahn throws a head kick that misses.
Cahn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cahn tries a head kick but it misses.

Cahn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Cahn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cahn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kurtic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cahn connects with a couple of short punches.
Cahn cracks Kurtic with a solid left hand.
Cahn lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Cahn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cahn scoring with some ground and pound.
Cahn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Cahn connects with a couple of short punches.


Kurtic is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cahn trying to control but Kurtic is working from the bottom.
Oh Kurtic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cahn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kurtic haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kurtic seems to have got his legs back now.
Cahn advances to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cahn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kurtic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cahn scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cahn connects with a nice short shot to Kurtic's temple.
Cahn looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kurtic on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Cahn is nestled in close to Kurtic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slip Cahn dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Cahn darts in and clinches Kurtic up against the cage.
Cahn crunches a lovely knee into Kurtic's ribcage.
Cahn lands a right hand.
Cahn is pressed up against the cage. Kurtic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cahn down to the mat. Cahn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kurtic tries to keep at a distance but Cahn has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cahn lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kurtic backwards.
A body shot lands from Cahn.

Cahn turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cahn manages to end up in side control.
Kurtic takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cahn cracks Kurtic with a big elbow.

Cahn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kurtic has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kurtic takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A big shot lands for Cahn! That's hurt Kurtic! Will he recover? Cahn fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slip Cahn!
After the big win, Slip Cahn made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Kemists ↑ 5x160Q and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
