The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dietrich lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Pelli blocks a head kick by Dietrich.
A clash of legs there as Pelli blocks the low kick.
Pelli takes one to the chin there.
Dietrich lands with a thumping leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pelli takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dietrich paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Dietrich cracks Pelli's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Pelli slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Dietrich can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Hans Dietrich really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Milwaukee's Best 160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Kullervo Pelli was interviewed post fight and said 'Well fuck this shit. I lost and I hate it. I should have knocked the fucker out in the first minute.'.
