Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Cutler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Koli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Cutler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sam Koli!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutler takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Koli throws out a powerful jab.
Cutler fails with the takedown
letting Koli counter with a right hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cutler.
Cutler tries to move into range but Koli moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cutler has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Koli.
Koli throws a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cutler gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Cutler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Cutler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Koli bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cutler's head backwards.

Cutler scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Koli is looking for a sweep. Cutler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Cutler is looking for a kimura here.
Koli tries to roll over but Cutler keeps him under control.

Cutler is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Koli reverses the position - he's now on top in Cutler's guard.
Koli wants to stand but Cutler has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Koli gets to his feet. Cutler looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Koli lands a really nice looking cross but Cutler seems unphased.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koli feints a jab promting Cutler to slip. Koli then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cutler slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Koli uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cutler has time to react.
Koli lands a head shot.

Koli drops Cutler with a beautiful combination! Cutler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Koli is looking for the KO!

Cutler is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koli fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cutler to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cutler looks to clinch but Koli throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cutler taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Sam Koli thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
