The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ming bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Nick Clark has been cut.

Ming dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Clark doesn't manage to clinch there - Ming circles away.
Ming misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Clark.

Ming is looking to break free of the clinch but Clark has double underhooks.
Ming is struggling to control the position.
We've been hearing reports that Ming has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Clark is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ming to keep the fight standing.
Clark tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ming smiles and moves away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
