Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronko Strunz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hess might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Curl Of The Burl. Strunz has chosen Sepultura - Roots Boody Roots as his entrance music. Jon Hess is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Hess!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bronko Strunz!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Hess.
Strunz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Strunz slips under a jab.
Strunz tries a head kick but it misses.
Strunz checks a leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hess.
Strunz throws a jab when Hess was well out of range.
Strunz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Strunz tries to land a body kick
and Hess counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hess just misses with a punch to the body.
Strunz scores with a leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
An inside leg kick lands from Hess.
Strunz looks winded!
Hess's jab looks to have found its range, popping Strunz under the eye.
It looks like Bronko Strunz has been cut.
An inside leg kick from Hess misses.
Strunz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Strunz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hess looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Strunz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Strunz walks straight into a right hand from Hess - that's dropped him! Hess jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Strunz from any more punishment! Strunz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jon Hess!
A relieved looking Jon Hess thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
