Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldon Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Sakkara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Big Rich ,San Quinn & Boo Banger- San Francisco Anthem. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Marcus Sakkara enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakkara uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Smith thows a body shot but no joy.
Smith looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sakkara throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith takes one on the button.
Sakkara connects with a jab.
Smith looks to throw the jab but Sakkara is out of range.
Sakkara looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Sakkara.
Smith misses with a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sakkara stuns Smith with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Smith tries for a takedown but Sakkara sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sakkara.
Smith takes one on the button.
Sakkara misses with a wild body shot.
Sakkara scores with a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sakkara scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sakkara sprawls well. Sakkara wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith lunges at Sakkara with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sakkara's hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Sakkara.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aldon Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sakkara scores with a nice strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith misses with an uppercut

and Sakkara moves into the clinch.

Sakkara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sakkara lands with a nice body punch.
Sakkara lands with a straight right. Smith didn't see that one coming.
Sakkara has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sakkara finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Sakkara is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Smith had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Sakkara jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Smith is breathing heavily.

Sakkara lands a big right hand that sends Smith crashing to the mat! Sakkara stays standing though and waves Smith back to his feet!

Smith is rocked!
Smith is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Sakkara doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Smith crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Smith's bad books for that mishap!
