Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Kakashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Bate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kakashi comes to the cage accompanied by Nas - Hate Me Now. Aoki Kakashi had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Tyrone Bate!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakashi misses with a two punch combination.

Bate throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kakashi was covering up waiting for the punch and Bate finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bate is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bate trying to control but Kakashi is working from the bottom.
Bate working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kakashi's head.
Bate forces his way into half guard.
Bate scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Kakashi moves into full guard.

Kakashi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bate uses it to pass to side control.

Kakashi sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Kakashi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bate pulls his head out easily.
Kakashi is looking for a sweep. Bate is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bate lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Bate is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bate thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kakashi's head.

Bate wants to work for an arm triangle but Kakashi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bate wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kakashi keeps working.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bate accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kakashi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kakashi has his foot on Bate's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bate works his way back into a safe position though.

Kakashi looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bate passes into half guard.
Bate looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kakashi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bate winds up and cracks Kakashi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kakashi wants to get back to full guard.
Bate is trying to control. Kakashi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bate connects with a nice short shot to Kakashi's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bate wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kakashi keeps working.

Bate tries to pass to full mount but Kakashi defends it.

Bate drops an elbow to the side of Kakashi's head.
Kakashi gets back to full guard.
Kakashi trying to keep a closed guard but Bate is proving a slippery customer.
Bate distracts Kakashi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Kakashi is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Brown House that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bate has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kakashi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bate is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kakashi pulls down on the head and he's put Bate to sleep! This one is all over!
