The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magakian sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Magakian is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Chiarmanda.

Magakian is rocked!
The fighters circle momentarily. Chiarmanda darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Magakian is still on wobbly legs! Can Chiarmanda finish him?

Magakian moves into range and clinches up with Chiarmanda.
Magakian has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Chiarmanda scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Magakian beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Chiarmanda closes the distance and catches Magakian with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Magakian is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Chiarmanda takes it!
