The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silakka throws a leg kick

and Marko counters with a flying knee that drops Silakka!

Marko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Marko stays in close to Silakka's body and controls the position.

Silakka pushes Marko off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Silakka fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Marko checks it well.

Marko walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Marko limp body while Silakka jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
