The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandy swats away the attempt to clinch by Lovric.
Brandy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lovric is able to avoid easily.
Brandy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lovric throws a hook to the side of Brandy's head but Brandy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lovric is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brandy.

Lovric's coach down at Turka Elite Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lovric's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Rubicon Brandy will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brandy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lovric has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lovric and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Let's hope that Lovric has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rubicon Brandy.
