Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krug Barishkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyde Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barishkov comes into the arena with Angel of Death - Slayer blaring out of the sound system. Jones has chosen Beyonce feat. Jay Z - Bonnie & Clyde as his entrance music. The key to victory for Krug Barishkov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Krug Barishkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clyde Jones!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Hemmingworth and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barishkov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barishkov tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barishkov to the ground. Barishkov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.

Jones gets the takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Barishkov has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jones throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Barishkov is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Barishkov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Barishkov tries to improve position but can't.
Barishkov taking a bit of punishment here - Jones scoring with strikes.

Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Barishkov is defending well.
Jones tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barishkov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones tries to score with some ground and pound. Barishkov controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Barishkov parries the strikes from Jones easily there. Jones is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Barishkov to escape.

Jones is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Barishkov looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jones gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Barishkov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jones lets go of the hold and Barishkov can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Clyde Jones!
Clyde Jones spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
