Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Nokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Rio is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Requiem for a dream. The key to victory for Bastian Nokia has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bastian Nokia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alberto Del Rio!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Del Rio shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Del Rio is trying to control. Nokia wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Del Rio tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Del Rio wants to get up but he can't break Nokia's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alberto Del Rio hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Del Rio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nokia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Nokia counters with a nice double leg into guard.
