Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sledgehammer!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene tries to clinch there but Stark circles away.
Greene misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stark.

Greene has managed to clinch.
Greene is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Stark is keeping busy.

Greene escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good standup being displayed there by Greene as he connects with a hook.
Anton Greene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greene throws a sloppy head kick and Stark moves out of range easily.

Stark tries to pass the half guard into mount. Greene knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Greene pushes Stark off looking to stand but Stark dives back in and keeps control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stark lands a nice short elbow.
Stark seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Stark seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Greene does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Stark is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Greene defends it well.

Stark is looking to take a break and control but Greene is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Greene is in trouble now - Stark has advanced to mount!
Greene wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Stark.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stark is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Greene to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Greene clinches up against the cage.
Stark has a couple of punches blocked by Greene.
Stark is trying to stall.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Stark as Greene tries to tie him up.
Greene's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Greene moves into range and clinches up with Stark.
A short body shot lands from Greene as the two fighters clinch.
Greene is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Stark counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stark shoots for a takedown but Greene saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Stark gets a double leg takedown into Greene's guard.
Stark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Greene swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Steven Stark overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Greene is looking to stand up but Stark isn't so interested in that idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
