The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva dodges the punch combination from Klincko.
Klincko chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Klincko tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
Klincko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Klincko gets slowly back to his feet.
Klincko blocks a head kick by Silva.
Dougie Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klincko moves out of range of the leg kick from Silva.
Silva moves out of range as Klincko throws a body kick.
Klincko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Klincko shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silva eats them both and turns towards Klincko to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Silva takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Silva looks for the body kick but Klincko saw that one coming.
Klincko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Klincko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Klincko lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Klincko steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Silva. That one must have hurt.
Klincko takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Silva lands a head kick. Klincko smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Dave Klincko has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Klincko throws a series of strikes that have Silva backpedaling.
Silva scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Klincko's sensitive parts.
Klincko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Klincko.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.
Klincko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Klincko takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Klincko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Klincko somewhat.

Good leg kick by Silva there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Klincko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Dougie Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Silva.

Silva thumps Klincko with a low kick.

Klincko swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Silva throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Klincko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva thows a body kick. Klincko tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nice body kick there by Silva.
Klincko throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Silva counters with a body kick that stops Klincko in his tracks momentarily.
Klincko is breathing heavily.

Silva clinches up with Klincko and pushes him back against the cage.
Silva blocks a body shot from Klincko.
Silva stalls.
Silva continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Klincko pulls Silva into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva is looking to stand up but Klincko won't let him.

Silva wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Klincko's closed guard. He's half up but Klincko has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Klincko pivots and extends the arm, Silva falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Klincko! Well done that man!
