Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted El Gringo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chuck Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ted El Gringo!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from El Gringo.

El Gringo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Liddell's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
El Gringo is stalling here. Liddell is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! El Gringo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Liddell has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Liddell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. El Gringo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
El Gringo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Liddell is looking to escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
