PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thors Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fichten Klatscher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fichten Klatscher told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fichten Klatscher!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hammer is trying to control the action in half guard but Klatscher is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hammer passes to side control.

Klatscher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hammer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hammer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Klatscher is trying to buck Hammer off.
Klatscher is looking for a sweep.

It looks like Fichten Klatscher has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammer softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Klatscher is out cold! Hammer jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thors Hammer!
