Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Conner Triton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JG Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentworth is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: CALL J.G. WENTWORTH. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Wentworth shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Triton napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Triton does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That was a close round but I would say that Conner Triton will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wentworth has Triton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wentworth pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Triton tumbling to the mat - Wentworth dives into Triton's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Triton is working an open guard so Wentworth takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Wentworth manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Triton on his heels. He'll look to pass Triton's guard now, I'm sure.

Wentworth throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Triton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wentworth is in Triton's guard.

My spies in The Seven Sins Grappling Academy inform me that Wentworth has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

JG Wentworth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Wentworth clinches up with Triton and pushes him back against the cage.

Wentworth is trying to trip Triton. He has hold of a leg but Triton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wentworth persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Wentworth gets to his feet. Triton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Wentworth is trying to drag Triton to the mat but Triton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
