Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jayavarman Wongkrachang!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hytten throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wongkrachang on the side of the head.
Hytten blocks a head kick by Wongkrachang.
Wongkrachang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hytten misses with a body shot.
Wongkrachang takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hytten is looking to slow Wongkrachang down with leg kicks.
Wongkrachang loads up on a big right hand but Hytten slips the punch.
Hytten throws a hook but Wongkrachang blocks it.
Hytten punishes Wongkrachang's body with a nice straight punch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wongkrachang.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wongkrachang lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hytten has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hytten and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Wongkrachang takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Kent Hytten will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wongkrachang lands a glancing blow to the side of Hytten's head.
Wongkrachang will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hytten is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Wongkrachang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hytten.

Wongkrachang throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hytten was covering up waiting for the punch and Wongkrachang finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well Wongkrachang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
