PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jase Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kermit Earlandson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Earlandson has chosen the theme from titanic as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kermit Earlandson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kermit Earlandson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earlandson tries for a takedown but Robertson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Robertson stuffs the takedown attempt from Earlandson. Earlandson gets slowly back to his feet.
Robertson scores with a sloppy right hand. Earlandson should have avoided that one.

Robertson thows a body kick. Earlandson tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Kermit Earlandson has been cut.
Robertson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Earlandson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Earlandson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jase Robertson!
Jase Robertson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
