The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanderson moves into the clinch.
Max tries to circle away but Sanderson has him pinned against the cage.
Max is trying to break the clinch but Sanderson has him pressed against the cage.

Sanderson keeping moving, preventing Max from controlling successfully.
Sanderson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Max!
Sanderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Max can do anything to dispel that myth.

Max is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Sanderson lands a big shot there that rocks Max but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Max's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Max is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Sanderson locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Max is forced to tap!
