Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phan Benjawan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hohepa Tama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Benjawan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It Comes and It Goes. Tama has chosen Honor the Fallen as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tama looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Benjawan lands a head kick!

Benjawan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tama has time to react.

Benjawan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tamas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Benjawan throws a sloppy head kick and Tama moves out of range easily.
Benjawan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Benjawan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Tama has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Benjawan.

Tama is trying desperately to land a takedown but Benjawan is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tama.
Tama walks into a straight right hand from Benjawan.
Benjawan lands a leg kick that knocks Tama off balance momentarily.
Benjawan gets in close and tags Tama with a short punch that almost sends Tama to the mat! Oh Tama is in big trouble! He turns his back on Benjawan, trying to create some distance but Benjawan rushes him, striking wildly and Tama goes down! The referee tackles Benjawan into the cage to end the fight! Benjawan is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phan Benjawan!
Phan Benjawan decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Hohepa Tama spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll get better'.
