Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nate Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafinha Capoeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingston comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac - I'm Soulja. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Kingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafinha Capoeira!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Capoeira.
Capoeira looks to land a right hand but Kingston moved out of range.
Capoeira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kingston throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Capoeira has taken the fight to the clinch.
Capoeira throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kingston blocks it with crossed arms.
Capoeira pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Capoeira lands a nice uppercut.
Capoeira lands with a light punch inside.
Kingston takes an elbow to the forehead.


It looks like Nate Kingston has been cut.
Capoeira trying to land knees to the body.
Kingston blocks an elbow strike.
Capoeira tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kingston's elbow.
Capoeira goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Capoeira pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Capoeira tries to close the distance and clinch but Kingston swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kingston lands a nice looking body shot.
Capoeira tries to clinch but Kingston moves out of range.
Kingston throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Capoeira's waist but Capoeira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kingston off to one side.
Capoeira throws an off balance right hand
and Kingston counters with a two punch combo.
Jab, jab by Capoeira - just one landing.
Capoeira defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kingston.

Kingston shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Capoeira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingston missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kingston wants to control from the top but Capoeira keeps moving.
Kingston postures up in Capoeira's guard and throws a big left but Capoeira blocks it.
Capoeira avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kingston's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kingston pushes down on Capoeira's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Capoeira looks like he's trying to stand up.

Capoeira is defending against the submission attempts here by Kingston.
Kingston thows a huge punch but Capoeira dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kingston thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Capoeira's head.
Kingston sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Capoeira defending well though.
Kingston is trying to control. Capoeira wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Capoeira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kingston wants to work for an arm triangle but Capoeira is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kingston has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kingston is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Capoeira reverses the position - he's now on top in Kingston's guard.

Kingston looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kingston looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Capoeira is defending well. Kingston quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Capoeira has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kingston celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nate Kingston!
After winning the bout, Nate Kingston thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
