The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Straud displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hytten.
Hytten is breathing heavily.
Hytten misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hytten misses with a kick to the body.
Kent Hytten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hytten fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hytten tries to clinch but Straud moves out of range.
Straud fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Straud misses with a looping right.
Straud tests Hytten's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Kent Hytten has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circling - Straud throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Straud. Hytten does a little dance to reset his feet.
Straud should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hytten fails to land the takedown.
The fighters circle momentarily. Straud darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hytten takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Hytten is rocked!
Straud lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hytten off his feet! Hytten tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
