The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prabal shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Volkov is trying to defend but Prabal finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Volkov is trying to stand.
Prabal is trying to work for a kimura but Volkov is defending well.
Prabal landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Volkov wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Volkov can do anything to dispel that myth.
