Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Larry Rush!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Rua throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rush was covering up waiting for the punch and Rua finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rush is trying to control the position but Rua postures up.
Rua postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Rush looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rua postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rua won't allow Rush to sweep him here.

Rua lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Rua stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rua definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rush falls off balance throwing a combination

and Rua counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Rush keeping moving, preventing Rua from controlling successfully.
Rua with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rush looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rua trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rua is working Rush over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Rush is rocked!

It looks like Larry Rush has been cut.
Rua distracts Rush with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rush is still in real trouble! Can Rua finish him?
Rua gets to his feet and stands over Rush, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rush felt that one! Rua unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rush from any more punishment!
