Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phil Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Kluivert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phil Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robin Kluivert!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Harris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Harris throws a head kick that half lands.
Harris tries to clinch up.

Harris takes the fight into the clinch.
Harris using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kluivert has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Kluivert wants the takedown. Harris is fighting it off but Kluivert persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Harris's guard against the cage.

Harris trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Kluivert manages to pass to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kluivert tries to control but Harris wriggling away.

Kluivert has hold of Harris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Harris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Harris is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Kluivert goes for an armbar but Harris turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Harris.

Kluivert controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself.
Harris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kluivert swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Our spies down at at Red Light MMA inform us that Kluivert has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Kluivert controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself.
Kluivert wants to control but Harris passes easily into half guard.
Kluivert moves into full guard.
Harris trying to control but Kluivert is working from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kluivert looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harris is one step ahead there.

Harris is fighting to break Kluivert's control of his arms but Kluivert is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kluivert has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Harris has passed into side control.
Kluivert looking for a sweep but Harris has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Kluivert is working to get back to half guard.
Kluivert is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Harris punching from mount but Kluivert doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Harris lands a heavy elbow.
Kluivert avoids a series of strikes thrown by Harris.
Kluivert gets back to half guard.

Kluivert wants to control but Harris is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kluivert is looking to escape.
Harris wants to control but Kluivert is keeping him busy.
Kluivert tries to roll over but Harris keeps him under control.
Kluivert is doing well to control the position and prevent Harris from advancing to side control.
Kluivert wants to improve his position but Harris is controlling well.

Harris is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kluivert defends it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harris wants to free his trapped foot but Kluivert is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kluivert is pressing down on Harris's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Robin Kluivert will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Kluivert looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harris is fending him off so far but Kluivert persists. Nope, Harris circles away and we're back to standing.

Harris tries to clinch but Kluivert is having none of it.

and Harris counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kluivert's guard now.
Phil Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robin Kluivert.

Kluivert looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Harris is defending well. Kluivert quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Harris has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kluivert celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
